About the Chamber....
The Chamber’s core purpose  is a catalyst for Marshall's continued success as a regional business center in Southwest Minnesota.

The Chamber realizes its program of work through its member volunteers. Governed by a board of directors, the Chamber is comprised of a number of councils and committees that are guided by the program of work.

The Marshall Area Chamber of Commerce serves a large and diverse membership. For that reason the Chamber offers a large marketing option to all members.  Here's how your business can gain new exposure and new customers today!

Marshall Visitor Guide
Produced and published by the Marshall Independent our Visitor Guide sees approximately 11,500 annual copies in circulation in addition to the online copy.  As a marketing opportunity for business, it is ideal for those who would like to be seen by business persons and/or families relocating to, or visiting the area.  Sales take place during October annually.
 

Web marketing on www.marshall-mn.org
All business members receive an accessible mini-webpage under the business directory as a benefit of membership.

Chamber E-Newsletter
The Chamber sends out a monthly E-Newsletter called the Marshall Area Chamber Newsletter to over 300 businesses and 1,000 viewers.  This publication offers members a chance to advertise an upcoming event or general promotion as an attached ad to the newsletter for $25.00 per month. Friday Focus
Another benefit of membership is the ability to blast your promotion via email with the Friday FocusThis informative email message is sent every Friday. It has the latest local, state, and federal updates that may affect your business besides Chamber events and activities. Please submit your jpeg ad to chamber@starpoint.net and for $25.00 per month we will run your ad.

Mailing Labels
Chamber members who are interested in initiating a mailing campaign, have a unique opportunity to share their business message directly with fellow members.  The Chamber list is updated regularly and mailing labels will be prepared for a business upon request.  The cost is $25.00, paid in advance.

Marshall City Map
Chamber Office along with the Marshall Independent and Western Printing produces and publishes this detailed piece, which makes for an especially valuable tool for individuals who would like to better acquaint themselves with the area. 

The map is primarily located at the Marshall Area Chamber Office and select member businesses, as well as online.  Those member businesses that pay the Cornerstone Membership and above, have the opportunity to purchase a 1/2 price ad on the Marshall City Map. Brochure Rack Space
Members of the Marshall Area Chamber are able to post business brochures and literature in the racks of the Chamber Office.  The Chamber Office sees visitors and local patrons year round.  You never know who will come across your business message!

Chamber Events.....
Business After Hours
Chamber After Hours usually takes place on the 1st Thursday of the month from 4:45 - 7:00 pm at a rotating member business location.  Participants enjoy appetizers and beverages in a casual setting while gathering with fellow business members.  It is a relaxed way to unwind after work and get better acquainted with your peers. 

All employees, of a business in good standing as a Chamber Member, are welcome and encouraged to attend all Chamber Functions including Business After Hours! Who knows...you may be the next lucky winner.

Marshall Leadership Academy
The Marshall Leadership Academy program is designed to help current and emerging leaders understand the dynamics of the community and the role leadership shares in building vibrant communities.
