Getting Involved!

Marshall is small enough to welcome citizens' various interests and big enough to offer many avenues in which those talents can be expressed.  Our vibrant community is proactive and moving ahead with plans for a new community center, an expanding industrial park and a renovated downtown.

Youth and adult sports leagues offer year-round activities and almost 200 clubs and organizations encourage your active participation.

Becoming involved is easy in Marshall.  You can and do make a difference!

NEW! NOW AVAILABLE AS A SEARCHABLE DATABASE!   Welcome to the new searchable on-line Marshall Area Club and Organization Directory.  Become involved in the Marshall Community has never been easier.

The Marshall Area Chamber of Commerce also has a booklet listing the many clubs and organizations looking for active participants and board members.  (This is the same information available in our searchable database, in brochure form.)  Download the pdf version of the organizational brochure.

MACC also sponsors the Marshall Leadership Academy annually, providing an opportunity for new leaders to learn about the community and network with other community and regional leaders.  Classes are held from February through April, and applications are available in late fall.  Contact the Marshall Area Chamber of Commerce to be placed on our mailing list.

The VOLUNTEER CLEARINGHOUSE help to connect organizations with volunteer needs with citizens who would like to be actively involved in shaping our community's future.  If you have an interest in participating in this exciting new project, please contact us.
